About us
The Sandbach Ukulele Band grew as an offshoot of Sandbach U3A ukulele group.
We met initially in Sandbach Music School, with a finishing time of 20.00. This accounts for our legendary performance of The Boxtops' "The Letter", which can (if required) be played in < 60 seconds. In 2018, we moved to the Market Tavern. After landlord Kevin's retirement, we moved again to Bar 918 at Malkin's Bank Golf Course.
We play an eclectic mix of well, pretty much anything you can sing to. And some things that we clearly can't.
